Lightovation, Total Home & Gift Market among Dallas spring offerings

Dallas Market Center’s March Market, set to take place March 23-26, will include the spring Total Home & Gift Market and Lightovation in addition to the Dallas Apparel & Accessories Market and KidsWorld.

Pre-registration, which is the exclusive method to receive the FastPass for contactless entry, is now available at dallasmarketcenter.com.

For the March shows, buyers will discover new products across all categories at the once-a-year event for fashion, gifts, home décor, lighting, floral, holiday, gourmet and housewares. The marketplace will feature more than 30 new and expanded showrooms, hundreds of Temps including Immediate Goods on 11, and socially distant special events and promotions including a $1000 giveaway.

“Dallas is truly the center of business creativity and commerce,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “We are welcoming more first-time attendees who appreciate a single marketplace to find it all, get inspired, and push their business forward for 2021. And we are doing it all with the utmost attention on supporting health and safety.”

Home furnishings showrooms in the World Trade Center that are expanding and relocating include HiEnd Accents (WTC 515) and The Import Collection (WTC 6440).

New in the Interior Home + Design Center: Darafeev, which recently moved into 1D102. In The Gallery, Couture Lamps (Gallery Gl66) and Benjamin Moore (Gallery GL 84A) are new for March.

In the Trade Mart: MM&W SmartStone (TM 4432-08), Studio Sri (TM 2301-01), Hubbardton Forge (TM 3725), Minka Group (TM 4103), and expansions from Savoy House (TM 4901), Z-Lite (TM 4600), and Matthews Fan Company (TM 4737).

Temps have been a critical feature of markets in Dallas for years but given the ongoing success of recent events in Dallas even more space has been dedicated to Temps. The 12th floor recently underwent an expansion in order to accommodate the surging demand.

Supporting the comfort, health and safety of all attendees, the market center will continue measures that include mandatory face covering and temperature screening for every person entering the marketplace every day. Other efforts include low contact entry via online pre-registration as well as enhanced cleaning with hospital grade products, hundreds of hand sanitizing stations, and signage for social distancing.

New for March: Dallas Market Center has partnered with Kai Medical Laboratory for concierge COVID-19 testing. The location is WTC 170, on the first floor of the World Trade Center. The testing is a PCR test with results in 24 hours; the type of test most often required for travelers. Hours of testing are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Along with these new measures, there are safety features that are part of the natural design of the marketplace: open parking, large entryways, quick registration in multiple areas, wide hallways, multiple escalators to every floor, and showrooms with controlled access to allow for the appropriate distance between customers.
