Dallas debuting Lightovation virtual show

Dallas Market Center announced that a Lightovation virtual show will take place Jan. 7-12 during its Total Home & Gift Market.

Earlier this month, DMC announced that the in-person version of Lightovation will take place March 23-26.

The online event, the first of its kind in residential lighting, will enable qualified retail buyers worldwide to shop products from more than 70 brands in multiple categories and to seamlessly and conveniently make purchases.

“Using breakthrough technology and intuitive design features, we are thrilled to support the lighting industry by creating the first virtual trade event for residential lighting,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “The virtual show will provide buyers with an efficient and convenient avenue for discovering new products, surveying trends, and placing orders.”

The virtual Lightovation show will provide a seamless and integrated method of shopping wholesale online with a user experience and consolidated checkout system powered by MarketTime, a Dallas Market Center partner. It will enable buyers to conveniently explore and shop products across brands in every category from outdoor fixtures to smart lighting systems—and make one fast and easy purchase.

Early adopter participating brands include Adesso, Artcraft Lighting, Bethel International, Big Ass Fans, Bulbrite, Capital Lighting Fixture Co., Carro USA, Crystorama, Eurofase, GS Designs, H.A. Framburg & Co., Hinkley, Hudson Valley Lighting, Hunter Fan Co., Innovations Lighting, KONCEPT, Legrand, Lite Source, Livex Lighting, Lucas + McKearn, Luxrite, Matthews Fan Co., Maxim Lighting Group, Minka Group, Nora Lighting, Progress Lighting, Quoizel, Robert Abbey, Savoy House, Schonbek, Sonneman-A Way of Light, Varaluz, Wind River Ceiling Fans, Zeev Lighting and Z-Lite. Additional brands and products are being added every day leading up to the show’s launch.

Officials say joining the online trade event is easy. Existing Dallas Market Center registered lighting buyers will soon receive instructions for connecting to the show. DMC will offer online registration for new buyers beginning Dec. 31.
