SAN FRANCISCO – Chairish Inc., a high-end home décor e-commerce marketplace, has brought on Kris Miller as a new member of its board.
Miller brings more than 25 years of experience to the team with previous posts including chief strategy officer and senior vice president of eBay, partner and director at Bain & Company and as a member of the board for both Neiman Marcus and Cable One.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Kris Miller to our board and look forward to the expertise and experience she’ll bring to the table, particularly in e-commerce and marketplaces,” said Gregg Brockway, Chairish CEO and co-founder.
Brockway added that the company’s board is now one-third female. Overall the company is more than 70% female, he added, including its executive leadership team. “This is a rare accomplishment in the technology world, and one that we intend to continue,” he said.
Chairish has grown to include more than 4.5 million monthly shoppers and more than 550,000 vintage, antique, contemporary and made-to-order products. Over the past year, the company’s gross revenue has more than doubled, according to Brockway.
